In Michigan One Vote Does Count
I believe my 'one vote' lists; National, by State, and Other; to be the most comprehensive
listing on the internet.
Actually it is not just 1 vote but is 1 vote
over or shy of a majority, or 'super-majority'.
Any one voter of the victory tally had the power to sway the
victory to a tie or the opposition. One vote is victory among many when the many have the

I have included where one vote each over several precincts could have made a difference.

the city of Marshall from becoming the capital of Michigan.
|| 1 vote elected
the Mayor of Ann Arbor, Michigan.

a recount would have approved a $2.5 million millage propositon
for the Lansing, Michigan School District. The original
count was short of approval by only ten votes. The recount
produce a tie of 5147 for and 5147 against, failing the
|| 1 vote would
have prevented the coin toss, lottery in the Fife Lake Township,
Mich., supervisor race. Each received 297 votes. A coin was
tossed to determine which candidate would draw one of two slips
of paper each containing the words "elected" or "not elected"
Toni Larson, the challenger, was named winner over incumbent
Dave Stremlow, having won the toss and the draw.

per precinct in Macomb County, Michigan for Nick Ciaramitaro,
would have changed the outcome for the election of Macomb
County probate judge. The winner was Sterling Height's
City Council Member Kathryn George.
