PoetPatriot is
Roger W Hancock
One might think,
by the poems, I am a Veteran....
I am not. I simply appreciate those who have made the many
sacrifices that have made them Veterans.
I have not paid any of the varied sacrifices that are required of those
who serve, and of their families. I applaud those who have facilitated
my liberty to speak out my personal agenda.
My father, Kenneth Hancock was in the Army Air Corp. My Uncle, John
Hancock served in the Army earning the Silver Star. They both served
during WWII. My Grandfather served during WWI.
My
brothers
have
served
as well. One served in the Marine Corps, the other served in the U.S.
Navy.
My
Veteran poetry
is my tribute to the men and women who serve, in
whatever
capacity to ensure the liberty and security of America.
