Waiting
on God . . . in this modern day world (the USA anyway) where not many of us
know what it is, to wait for anything. This hustle and bustle society,
gimmy, gimmy and if not now then yesterday. Waiting, at one time was a
chance for a person to rest a bit, but NOT, today, one usually churns with
anxiety about the wasted time, having to wait. No time to rest even when
forced to a stand still, there is so much to do, so rather than rest... we
stew. To Wait on God is to Wait in the Spirit, where there is no anxiety,
and no waste of time otherwise we are truly not ' Waiting on God '. . This
fool knows all too well that when I'm not resting and waiting in God, I am
wasting the time and not utilizing the opportunity to rest in Our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ.
