We Have A New President
- January 21, 2009
Obama is now our President. The first man of Black descent to become
president is surely a historical event. The question that lies
ahead is, “Will he be a good president?” Time will surely tell.
Obama’s socialistic policies will not be good for America if
comparing with the thoughts of the founding fathers. However do the
American people want a change as drastic as abandoning our heritage
of liberty. Greater Government control over our lives is a
frightening thought. America is great but will the greatness
continue if we change to a more socialistic government. America is
great. Due to the greatness of our country one man cannot alone make
such drastic changes. The democrats have control of both
congresses, but not all democrats are for socialism. Although the
democrats control the government fortunately the socialists do not.
We will have more spending, increased government, and more
regulations. Watch your pocket book, Obama will keep the promise to
raise taxes and break the promise to not raise taxes. America is
strong with the strongest governmental system ever implemented.
America has held up under bad presidents before and will do so
again.

The beginning of last year (2008) brought
Roger's Rhymes to PoetPatriot.com. The rhymes are
organized into ten categories with one subcategory. It
took Roger a while to get the hang of writing children
rhymes, his first, a year or two prior, were not so very
good.

other categories.
Roger's
Animal Rhymes has a mix of fictional and
nonfiction.
Christian Rhymes are of Jesus, Angels, Sunday School
and such. A subcategory
Christian Children Rhymes - with Names has rhymes
using various names in a Christian theme.
Founders Rhymes for our founding fathers, overall
are a bit dry but individually may help a child learn of
the founders. New versions of the popular
Fuzzy Wuzzy will tickle the ears of young and old.
The
Game Rhymes category contain rhymes of children
games as well as Sports rhymes that even adults may
enjoy. Rhymes to learn various lessons are in the
Life Rhymes category. Rhymes of various children
names may be of interest to those with the name used.
Patriotic Rhymes of fireworks and freedom will
become favorites to promote a love of country. Keep your
child safe using
Safety Rhymes to help them learn. Then there are the
Zander Rhymes, rhymes of my grandson, his siblings
and cousins.
